CHERRY PLACE CAFÉ
A charity breakfast in aid of CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation. The event took place at CHERRY PLACE CAFÉ, on Saturday the 27th of June. Dr Karin van den Berg (Medical Officer at the South African National Blood Service), gave a presentation on the importance of becoming a platelet and hyper-immune plasma donor.
It was an enjoyable morning and a young cancer survivor gave a talk on her experiences when she was diagnosed with leukemia.
With donations and the breakfast CHOC was blessed to receive over R10 000. This will be used wisely.
