The first walk took place in August of 2010. It was a beautiful day and the support was overwhelming, with friends and family joining in. For many who continue to do the walk again each year, it has become akin to a spiritual pilgrimage. Participants have walked whether snow or sun, heat or cold, and there is a great spirit of camaraderie. Last year participants reached 400 people. Organising the Sani Pass Walk for CHOC Durban is a labour of love for Joy and Glen de Witt and their family. The De Witts make it look so easy but a lot of behind the scene work goes on before the actual day.
Thank you for helping us in keeping more than hope alive!
