September is the gold ribbon month - marked as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month; this is a time where globally, countries honoured and remembered children and families affected by this rare disease, and helped rally awareness on the early warning signs of childhood Cancer. In the Western Cape Region we received so much support during the month of September from the members of the public, radio stations, schools, corporates and churches. We would like to thank each and every friend of CHOC, Donors, schools and partners for the wonderful support and helping us raise awareness on childhood cancer.
